I think that blogging has been a valuable exercise because it has made me reflect about different text-types in Spanish. Using the appropriate genre conventions was difficult for me in the beginning, but I think I was able to improve in the last few blogs.
I also think it was nice that we were encouraged to look to Spanish resources, but I found this very difficult - many culture shock resources were in English or referenced English ideas, or were quite informal.
Nonetheless I enjoyed the challenge of producing a text that would be enjoyable for my classmates to read, and liked seeing the results of their work.
